Executive Director ~ Amy Rice
Executive Director since September 2004 with responsibility for managing the daily business and operations of Handi-Crafters, Inc. Formerly Director of the agency's Rehabilitation Services since 1996. Experience includes various human service positions involving casework, counseling and teaching. Education includes a BS in English, a Master's in Administration (West Chester
University), and a Master's equivalency and certification in Special Education (Penn State).
Director of Administrative & Support Services
~ Linda M. Glazer
Business Manager since 1987 with responsibility for managing budget, support functions (clerical, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation and nursing) and human resources. Experience in office and financial management since 1968. Attended Queens College (Accounting).
Director of Development ~ Brian Tagliaferro
Development Director since February 2007. Responsible for overseeing
the agency's fund raising, special events and public relations. Experience
in development, management, public relations, writing, editing, and web design.
Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science (Hamilton College).
Director of Industrial Services ~ Linda Zimmerman
Director of Industrial & Vocational Support Services since August 2003, (Assistant Director since 1999). Responsibilities include managing the production and packaging functions of the agency's sheltered workshops and related programs and services. Education includes a BS in Health & Physical Education (Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania).
Director of Employment & Youth Services ~ Christine
Broome
A Welfare-to-Work Coordinator and Dislocated Worker Program Coordinator with
Handi-Crafters since August 1996 and assumed the position of Director of
Employment Services in August 2007. Responsibilities include oversight of
School-to-Work Program, community employment, mobile work crews, Career
Directions for out-of-school youth, and the Oxford Photo License Center.
Education includes B.A. in Psychology (Kutztown University) and M.S. in
Counseling/Higher Education (West Chester University).
Director of Older Adult Daily Living Center ~
Herbert Krumrine
A Program Specialist with Handi-Crafters since September 2000 and assumed
the position of Director of the Older Adult Daily Living Center in September
2007. Responsibilities include intake of clients, goal setting and
reporting, and seeing that programming is carried out according to Commonwealth
regulations. Education includes Bachelor's degree in Health, Physical
Education and Recreation (Lincoln University) and graduate studies in Elementary
Education and Safety and Driver Education (West Chester University). In
addition to previous duties with Handi-Crafters, background includes over 30
years in Therapeutic Recreation and Education, many of which were in the Human
Services field.
