Handi-Crafters’ 50th Celebration

On Thursday September 22nd, 2011 Handi-Crafters supporters, clients, and friends gathered together to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

In this moving ceremony a group of the original founders of Handi-Crafters were present to be honored for their vision including, Dick and Monnie Zobel, Warren Strawsnyder, Art Burt, Skip Huston, Rose Marie Andrien (one of original 7 clients and daughter of first program director, Dorothy Andrien), Dan and Ruth Chambers and Agnes Chesko.

Also recognized were our 50th Anniversary Leadership Sponsors including,  First Niagara Bank, Bentley Systems, The Hankin Group, Jennifer & Bob McNeil, A Friend of Handi-Crafters, CTDI, Summit Container Corporation, Citadel Federal Credit Union, Kensey Nash, The Protection Bureau, Solar LED, Bruce & Claudia Hinlein and Bob & Hannah Spatola.

    I came across your website while researching Solar Goose products. What a great story! You must be very proud of what you’ve accomplished in those 50 years.
