Handi-Crafters was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from the PA Department of Public Welfare to purchase a van, exercise equipment, and group outings for our Older Adult Daily Living Center.

The OADLC, our unique retirement program, has 35 participants who are realizing the rewards of a lifetime of work. In the program, individuals are engaging in active, therapeutic and fun opportunities to maintain their quality of life and to support their health and wellbeing.

The 14 passenger, wheelchair accessible van, accommodating exercise equipment and group outings, will be instrumental in enhancing meaningful activities for individuals participating at the center.
